VR02

Model of the V of R guards van with its original wooden body (1905-38) which was used on all trains. The van has two curved wooden duckets enclosed by the vehicles metal roof. Kit comprises a plywood inner body laminated with 1/16th" mahogany panels and mahogany strip detail. All castings except couplings are included.

Originating from the Hafen Tramway these vehicles underwent many modifications and are supplied as the 5'6" versions as used by the GWR. Kit includes whitemetal headstocks, working door, mahogany side pieces and door detail. Buffers and couplings not included.
