NWNGR/WHR Ashbury Corridor Coach/Buffet Car Based on the famous Ashbury Buffet Car converted after the demise of the WHR, this model is supplied full height to match with our other WHR/NWNGR stock. Originally the two NWNGR coaches began life as all third, with two seats down one side of the coach and a single row down the other side. This allowed a “corridor” for access down the length of the coach. One coach was supplied or soon converted to a first/third composite by addition of a partition. During the Ffestiniog period this was converted to a buffet car by the addition of a second partition to give a first-third-buffet split. The first class saloon remaining half of the coach. This version of the coach is currently being restored by the Ashbury Carriage Trust to run on the WHR railway, their restoration however will remain true to the “cut down” period. The buffet car kit includes the famous tea urn and cups. More internal photo’s will follow.
