The BCCI affair.

BCCI allegedly provided banking services to Medellin Drug Cartel, Khun Sa (an Asian heroin trafficking company), Manuel Noriega (nuff said), Abu Nidal (whom German Intelligence insists was a Mossad agent) and Saddam Hussein.

BCCI was also the route used in the Iran/Contra affair and funded Osama 
Bin Laden and the Mujahadin in Afghanistan for the war against the 
Russians.

Ed Rodgers, George Herbert Walker Bush's political director who had sat on all the presidential meetings, left to work for Sheikh Kamal Adham. Adham was the American representative of BCCI and was formally chief of Saudi Intelligence and was a friend of Adnan Khashoggi, an international Arms Dealer. Khashoggi is a business partner of George Herbert Walker Bush and is the brother-in-law of Mohamed al-Fayed.

When asked if he was concerned that a senior member of his staff had left to represent a Saudi Sheikh accused of being a key player in the BCCI scandal Bush said that Rodgers was free to do whatever he chooses and his only concern was that the White House was "beyond any *perception* of any impropriety" .

As the senate investigation into BCCI revealed, Rodgers left the White 
House and was paid $600,000 to do next to nothing that was within anyone's perception.

Rodgers' assistant, Haley Barbour turned up later as the National 
Republican Committee Chairman.

The senate investigation concluded that hiring Rodgers and giving 'gifts 
of money' to the President's son George Dubya were designed to "influence the Presidents policies in relation to BCCI".

Another heavy investor in BCCI was Salem Bin Laden who died on the 29th May 1988 near San Antonio. His very experienced pilot, who'd taken off from that airfield hundreds of times, simply turning the wrong way on take off and going straight into some power lines.

Another investor in BCCI was Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz who was also an investor into George W Bush's Arbusto Oil Company. Mahfouz was the operational director of BCCI and had a 20% stake in the company. Mahfouz is one the world's richest men and was a supporter of Osama Bin Laden. Not surprising as his sister is Osama Bin Laden's wife. Khalid bin Mahfouz and Salem bin Laden are both associated with James Bath, as revealed before Bath is a one time former buddy of George Dubya in the Texas Air National Guard. Bath had also worked for Gaith Pharaon, BCCIs front man in Houston. Bath had bought Houston's Gulf Airport for Salem Bin Laden and when Bin Laden was killed in the air crash the airport ownership went over to Khalid Bin Mahfouz in total. Mahfouz still has a big estate in Houston.

Bath is the registered owner of Skyway Aircraft Leasing Ltd, a Texas Air 
charter company registered in the Cayman Islands. It is really owned by 
Khalid bin Mahfouz according to published reports in the early 1990s. Bath received a $1.4million loan from Mahfouz in 1990. Mahfouz was for many years the banker for the Saudi King Fahd and also to George Herbert Walker Bush.

After the bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, Clinton's secretary of state 
Madeline Albright informed the Saudi defence Minister Prince Sultan that 
Bin Mahfouz and "other Saudis" had transferred $3million to various Osama Bin Laden front operations in Saudi Arabia in 1999. Bin Mahfouz had channelled money to various organisations believed to be involved in terrorism. These include the London Based Advice and Reformation 
Committee, Blessed Relief, an African Aid group whose director is Bin 
Mahfouz' son Abdul Rahman Mahfouz. These were a Kenyan branch of Help Africa People and controlled by the very people who were later convicted or indicted for the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Other fronts to receive funds from Bin Mahfouz are the International Islamic Relief Organisation which are linked to the bombings in India and the Philippines. Another is the Kenya branch of Mercy International were the evidence to convict the bombers were found.

Mahfouz is also an investor in the Carlyle Group, amongst other things 
they make Anthrax and the cure for it via Bioport. Former Prime Minister 
John Major is the European representative of the Carlyle group and is on 
their board of directors along with Dick Cheney and George Herbert Walker Bush. Do a search on this topic for further examples of the Carlyle group activities. Three of their outlets in Saudi Arabia were hit by car bombs earlier this year.

Mahfouz got away with his associations with BCCI by making a $225million settlement that was agreed with the New York Prosecutors.

Mahfouz was in a meeting with Ashcroft in New York when the planes struck the towers.
