London
London is an ideal city for a short break. It has world class theatre, restaurants, architecture, art galleries and museums. It has history, with some buildings dating back over 1000 years. The mix of modern building and old, give it a vibrancy and energy second to none.
If your after shopping there are bargains to be had on Oxford street, bespoke high fashion in Knightsbridge, trendy clothes in Covent Garden or for the adventurous, designer clothes and accessories at Camden Town Market.
London also has one of the worlds best transport networks. The tube can get you from one side of the city to the other in a matter of minutes, with trains every 5 minutes. For shorter journeys buses can often provide a welcome relief from the crowded pavements. Often over looked is the river. There are many fast boats traveling down the river as far as the O2 centre beyond Greenwich. Paying for any of these is easy using the Oyster card
