La Fosca
Sandy beach in a beautiful bay, a few beach side cafes and shops
but not enough to take away the simple beauty and convenience of this place.

Platja de Castell
Platja de Castell is approximately a 20 minute walk north of La Fosca.
The beach is all sand and part of a nature reserve, some temporary facilities
are placed on the beach during the main summer season but otherwise the beach
untouched by tourism.

Palamos
The centre of Palamos is only 30mins walk from the La Fosca, its got lots of small shops,
restaurants, narrow streets, marina, fishing port and fish market.

Palafugell
Small town typically Spanish with quite a few shops (you have to look to find them)
and a large square where a cup of coffee goes or beer down well while the world passes by.
There's a very big market on Sunday morning just the place to get your fruit and veg.

Calella de Pallafugell
Beautiful and very Spanish. Three small beaches, a few shops and plenty of restaurants.
Lovely place to go in the evening it has a feel of “real” Spain.

Llfranc
Up market "Spanish" resort small but beautiful.
Has a small sandy beach and a marina, not many shops but lots of places to eat.

Tamariu
Small beach and lots of small restaurants, this is a good place to "lunch". |

Pals
Inland and north of Palafugell this very pretty, quiet and original town has cobbled narrow streets and a castle.
The view from the castle is unrivalled for panoramic scenes of the surrounding countryside.

San Antonio Beach
This is the southern end of the same bay that forms the beach at Palamos and is recommended.
|

|
Plata D’ Aro.
Next resort south of San Antonio bigger with more shops and an amusement park for the kids.
always busy with lots of people and plenty of restaurants.
