4MT 2-6-4T No. 80098 at Frognall February 2006 - Built at the end of 1954 at Brighton, this locomotive worked initially on the London - Tilbury - Southend line, after a short working life of 11 years was withdrawn from Machynlleth MPD in July 1965. The years from January 1966 until November 1980 were spent in Dai Woodhams Yard at Barry until being purchased for restoration which was carried out at Peak Rail at Matlock and The Midland Railway Centre at Butterly.       More... ▼
