The Walk from Queen Margaret to the vet school is quite easy (about 2 miles). Cut through to Winton Dr, turn left, and follow to the roundabout on Cleveden Lane. Turn right and continue to the Canal. Follow the canal path till, just after Loch 27 pub, you cross the canal and turn left onto Temple Rd. Shortly, turn right onto Bearsen Rd/Switchback Rd and continue to the metal gate at the old enterance to the vet school (now only a pedestrian enterance). The reception is a large brick building on your right.

A trip from QM to Garscube by taxi runs about £6. If you can have them drop you off at the old enterence on Ilay Rd it cuts off quite a bit as the current enterence is quite a ways further on and requires doubling back.
