The West End of Glasgow is an awesome place to live. It is one of the safest areas in Glasgow, and draws a very affluent crowd.

I love walking along the roads in the West End near Queen Margaret Hall as the architecture of the houses is incredible. Many are town houses, but a few are single residences. Almost all are built of stone and have wrought iron fences or hedges in front.

My favourites houses are the "small" brick home, and the one seen through the iron gate with the lantern.

Also in the West End, is the Botanical Gardens with two huge glass houses, a lovely rose garden, a herb garden, and a constantly busy playground. When walking to the main Uni I always cut through the gardens and enjoy watching everything grow and bloom all year round.
