The University of Glasgow's School of Veterinary Medicine is located about three miles from the main campus on the grounds of Garscube Estate. The original estate house no longer exists as it was torn down due to structural damage quite some time ago. In its place sits one of the collage's dormitories called Wolfson hall. In addition to the vet school and Wolfson, the university has also built a new sports centre on the estate.

The vet school itself consists of one building with offices and lecture rooms, another with the library, small animal hospital, and lockers, and a third which is mostly anatomy and physiology. Additionally there is a refractory (cafeteria) and student union room. There are also a couple of barns and a brand new equine centre called Weipers. The former parasitology building was recently torn down and a new building is currently under construction.

Running through the estate is the River Kelvin with lots of walking and biking trails and park areas.
