Friday 21st December - The Rosary Roman Catholic Primary School, in North London, Key Stage One has made HvSMF their chosen charity for the academic year 2011-2012.  Claire van Straubenzee, along with Sue Macpherson, who has accompanied us on our last 3 trips to Uganda, producing many stunning photographs of schools and the country, visited the school in November 2011 and gave a talk about “a typical Ugandan school day”. Since then they have raised £1,700.  We plan to support Kawule Nursery School in early 2013 and give them a 20,000 litre water tank and 15 x 3-seater desks so that 50 children can sit at a desk and not on the floor.  We wish them good luck in their fundraising for the remainder of 2012.
