The Snow Queen’s heart has turned to ice and she is intent on spreading her misery throughout the land. But when she takes Gurda’s brother Kay and her friends, Gurda sets out on a quest to save them and stop the Snow Queen’s evil magic.
She is assisted by her Fairy Godmother, who is sadly past her best, and a variety of fairy tale characters gone wrong. When it starts snowing, things start changing - Captain Hook turns good, Red Riding Hood is a maneater, Dick Whittington is a stud and everyone’s favourite Disney princesses are transformed into soul divas. Can Gurda stop the Snow Queen and put everything right? Will there ever be a happy ending?
Oh yes there will - it’s a pantomime! With plenty of fun characters and chorus action, this show is a real winner for both cast and audiences.
The show contains a combination of original songs and recommended choices from the worlds of pop, rock and stage.
Revenge of the Snow Queen was originally performed by CWAGMS at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Cannock, Staffs, in December 2007. It was a huge financial success for the group and was extremely popular with everyone who took part in it or saw it.
