Costumes Here you will find some outfits that are suitable for performing. We're talking 'one-off' outfits, dresses, or tops and skirts that happen to match. We all want (and probably have) a genuine Egyptian costume in the closet, but can't usually afford more than one. What do beginners and improvers wear when they are uncertain how far they are going in this dance? Here are some options that won't break the bank and can be used time and time again.... and perhaps look different every time.
Black and White Dress This dress (zip back) is a mock top and skirt joined with a black mesh middle. The stretchy fabric is very sparkly (pic. 3) It has mesh inserts to skirt hem and mesh 'cuffs' to sleeves. It is cut low to show either bosom, as in the lovely Carol modelling (1.), or a fancy bra (2.)

Size 16/18 £60
Bronze and cream two-piece This two-piece costume is in a wonderful set of soft fabrics - bronze lamé and cream lycra with bronze sparkle printing in wavy lines. It has a tie-front top with circle sleeves. Centre slit to skirt for a flash of leg. The back of skirt has a 'fishtail' shape ( 2.) to hug under the bum (1.) and add extra flounce at the hem. Size 14/16 £65.00 1. Wear it as it is - wear it over a body-stocking - wear it with a camisole t-shirt (tucked in!). Wear it with or without a favourite hip belt. Just changing belts can change to whole look of the costume.
Taupe Squares 2-piece This outfit consists of two-pieces in soft and shiny taupe lycra, printed with silver mirror squares. VERY shiny squares - like mirrors. Asymmetrical slit on front of skirt to flash a bit of leg (3.). Mermaid tail at back seam to hug under bum and leave a little 'train' for extra flounce (2.). Size 16/18 £60.00 1. Wear with or without a covering for your tummy. Wear with or without hip belt to ring the changes.

This is a galabeya in a very soft black fabric, over-printed in gold, so you get a lovely two-tone effect on the fabric. This fabric drapes and flows beautifully. Wear it with a plain black scarf and take to the floor! Size 16/18 £27

V-necked with sequin and bead trim ( 3.). Bead trim to sleeve edges ( 4.). Sleeves are straight to elbows, then open out into draping cuffs (2.). Other colours are available (different trims):
Red , Black and Pearl Outfit This is a red and black lycra two-piece (pic 1.). The red is over-printed in a silver pattern with hologram sparkles (pic 4.). The skirt is 3/4 red with a black accent panel at the front. There is a centre front slit to show a bit of leg. The outfit is decorated with black/silver/red sequin and crystal motifs and strings of beads (pic 2). The top is a halter neck designed to be worn over a normal (cleavage enhancing!) bra. Approx size is 12/14. £75.00

Aqua Snakeskin outfit This is an aqua/pale turquoise two-piece outfit in a stretch velvet. The velvet has been over-printed with a clear snakeskin print so it glistens like............ snakeskin! The top is a tie-front, with small cap sleeves. The skirt is a 'mermaid' shape, smooth and shaped over the hips with a hidden elastic waistband. It has an asymmetrical slit on the front to show a bit of a leg and extra fabric in the back seam to give a 'fishtail' Wear it plain over a camisole top for a funky hafla outfit. Or, wear it with a sparkly bra and your favourite fancy hip belt and you have a great performance outfit. Approx 14/16. £60.00 2nd colour option available.
Black and Red two piece

 This outfit is a black crushed velvet two-piece. The skirt is a mermaid shape with a slight fishtail (1.) and a centre front slit to show some leg (pic 2.). It is smooth and shaped over the hips with a hidden elastic waistband. It has no beading decoration. The skirt is 3/4 black with one red print panel at the front. The print has lots of hologram sparkles on it as well as the silver print. The top is a black crushed-velvet camisole with an integral bra shelf for support/fit, and a flash of matching red. approx size 16/18 £50.00
Copper Lamé Dress This is a copper/solver/wine mil-spot lycra fabric. Absolutely gorgeous fabric that flows like liquid metal. Deep 'v' neckline front and back (with bra traps to keep it in place). Empire line for good shape under the bust and to enhance what you have. 
Wear it with a regular bra, or wear a super fancy bra and allow it to show. Wear with a plain scarf for the hips when at a hafla or performing. Wear it as is, for the office Christmas party! Other colours may be available, depending on size.
