Hen Nights

Learn to walk like an Egyptian and Sway like Papyrus

Hen nights are meant to be a fun, all-girl experience.

We start off our session with a simple warm up as you don’t want to pull or sprain anything before the big day.  Then you follow me in some dancing to western music .

When we are warmed up and happy dancing, we start to think in terms of being gorgeous and glamorous and move from ‘mum-dancing’, to ‘sex-goddess-strutting-her-stuff’.

We will learn some basic moves and, as we do so, we will also learn to relax our bellies and bums –and we will come to adore our bosoms!  How much have you got, and can you shake it?  Later, we will put all our moves together into a funky little dance.

Now if it all sounds like a lot of fun, let me assure you it will be... However, I love this dance and will be showing you how to do proper Egytian style bellydance not just gyrating for a hen-night bellygram!

Dress should be casual and comfortable and you should dance in either bare feet or non-slip socks.  Please do not wear shoes or trainers.  You can dress up (or down!) as much as you like.    I shall bring coin belts for all participants to wear during the session – these are available to buy if people wish.

I will not run the session if you are worse for wear or drunk (I have your money, and I can go home at any time), there is plenty of time afterwards to get tipsy.  A friendly warning: if you strut your Egyptian stuff while drunk, you will probably pull every muscle in your body – so take care!

At the end of the session there will be awards and certificates!!

A recent bride said this:

Hi Rita,

Thank you for a great afternoon on Saturday; everyone said how much they enjoyed  themselves. Several of us will be looking out for your classes in the autumn so you might see some of us again there!  Thanks again

Information:

In general, Hen Nights work out at about £10 a head (£17 if you want to buy your belt), but this is dependent on venue and travelling time and how many hens you have -  it could even be less!  For more information about Hen Nights or to get a quote for your circumstances,  just contact me.
