Items catering for all tastes purposes and purses can be obtained from the Friends' stalls at various fairs and shows in the areas around Caerphilly, Newport and Blackwood. Books are available in some bookshops, local post offices and libraries.
The books so far made available by the Trust include Tony Friends' 'Lord Tredegar's Ruperra Castle' which he wrote after seeing this huge crumbling ruin in 1981 and wanting to raise interest in saving it.
The others are compiled from tape recordings of local people and soldiers at Ruperra in World War II.
The Tea towels and mugs depict various aspects of Ruperra, both the castle and the woodland. The cards are from drawings by Jan Teagle and by Margaret Grocutt, and from photos taken by Derrick Jones, Allan Nutt and Chris Jones-Jenkins. Neale's engraving of the castle in 1821 is also reproduced.
There is a regular team who help to sell the goods but new helpers are always welcome!
