Welcome to the website of Urmston Chess
Club. Our club is part of the Manchester Chess Federation, and our aim
is to provide access to 'over the board' chess at all playing levels from
novice upwards, both on a casual basis and a competitive basis. Presently the club is represented by two teams in the Manchester
League, one in the Stockport League, and one in the Trafford League. We are always looking for players to join our club, so if you are
interested, please contact us (below) We meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday night at Flixton
Conservative Club, 193 Flixton Rd, Flixton, M41 5DF. The Club is on a mini-roundabout, and is located within 2 mins
walk from the Bird I’th Hand pub and opposite Flixton High School for Girls. |
