Welcome
to the website of Urmston Chess Club. Our club is part of the Manchester Chess Federation, and our aim is
to provide access to 'over the board' chess at all playing levels from novice
upwards, both on a casual basis and a competitive basis. Presently the club is represented by four teams in the Manchester
League, one in the Stockport League. We are always looking for players to join our club, so if you are
