BAPTISM: Noted on the Bishops transcripts for Hucking as being baptised on April 18 1742. The entry appears in three
consecutive years transcripts 1741/42, twice, as Abraham, son of Thomas & Martha Gilbert and in the 1742/43 transcript just as Abraham Gilbert, christening on April 18.
There is also a fourth entry in a duplicate transcript of 1742/43 where it is noted as Thomas Gilbert, christened on April 18, would assume that this has been an error in transcribing from the register the vicar has noted the fathers name instead of the son. Reference to these 4 entries are DCb/BT1/125/115 - 117 on Film no. 1736836.
