Parish Records
These files contain details I have extracted from Parish
Registers, Bishop's Transcripts, and transcriptions. They have
been compiled for my own use, and therefore contain only surnames
of at least some peripheral interest - not necessarily directly
related, but in many cases recorded in case I later find a
connection. I cannot identify the precise source of each item,
nor guarantee that spellings etc. match the originals exactly. In
collating the data I felt I might just as easily make them
accessible to others, so have put them in html format. Some have
been cut and pasted from previous versions, and I haven't yet
sorted out the format.
The order within the files is as follows:
Baptisms: first by surname, then by family, in date
order. Where I have baptisms in other parishes apparently for the
same parents there is a link.
Marriages: date order.
Burials: first by surname, then by date.
