The Bells

St Mary's has a ring of eight, cast at different dates by a mix of founders. They are hung in a wooden frame, with treble and six above the rest.

Ringing Times

Practice Night
Friday, 7.30-9.15

Followed by drinking in the Regent.

Sundays
Morning: 9.30-10.00
Evening: 6.00-6.30
Quarter peals are usually arranged for the second Sunday evening each month, and for special services.

We welcome visiting ringers of all standards. Ringing typically ranges from rounds and call changes to Stedman Triples and Cambridge Minor.

Peals and Quarter Peals

There have been 35 peals on the bells. The latest was rung for Surrey Association Peal Day, and was Margaret's first.

The 2001 outing was on 16th June 2001. Ten ringers took part, along with Maddy, Gabby, Isobel, Michael, Penny and Barbara.
