Patient / Family Service: to offer mutual support and practical advice, having 'been there' and felt 'like that'.

Social Events: The primary aim of the group is to offer a forum for meeting with other people and their families at social functions, monthly meetings and to keep contact via a quarterly newsletter. Many people report this as being extremely useful in restoring confidence and removing anxiety about the future.

Regular Newsletter: A regular Newsletter, free to everyone, providing an overview of what is happening in the local area and what social events the HSG is planning.

Fundraising Activities: Funds raised at events and through donations are used to help the development of cardiac rehabilitation services in the Salisbury area by providing much-needed equipment.

Local Voice: An active group representing the needs of heart patients and their families locally.
