A great Bass for James, it was caught on the drift while using live sand eel. The fish was Caught from the White Oyster ledges about 8 miles out from Swansea Marina.

A few Bass caught by drifting with live sand eel and storm latex lures.

To be honest, I generally only keep a small amount of the Bass caught, most are returned to live and fight another day.

These Bass were caught on live sand eel or black lugworm while at anchor over a patch of rough ground.

A small Tope caught on Mackerel while fishing in Oxwich bay on the Gower coast. It is not unknown for them to be caught well over 30lb in weight in the area of Oxwich bay.
