Neil Fished Meat and chopped worm to take first Place with a well deserved win from peg 9, 2nd was Pete Wilson who had to wait for his last fish of the day which gave him a really good fight Pete fished Pellet and maggot, Finally Trevor fished really well to take a good net of small carp and silver fish to secure 3rd spot.

Richard fished worm head up in the water to open is account this season with an impressive net of Tench, Carp and silver fish on what was a really warm day. 2nd was Geoff Howell who caught on pellet on the bomb throwing to the island catching 4 carp in the last 20 minutes to snatch it from Pete Wilson who has set off in good form with a 2nd and now a 3rd place. Pete caught on the pole and pellet to the island. The full result will be posted on the forum.

Geoff fished the pole for the first 2 hours and was catching steady, he then went on to the feeder were he doubled his weight. He fished Pellet on the pole about 18inch deep and fished meat on the feeder. Brian caught on pellet about 3 feet deep, catching some decent carp to take a deserved 2nd place. Phil caught on the bottom fishing the pole at about 10m on pellet and meat to take 3rd spot. The weather conditions were over cast with showers.

Richard Burdin fished worm and caster to take his 2nd win this year he also drew the golden peg, but it was not until the final hour he started to put a decent weight together. Geoff Howell took 2nd place fishing caster up in the water but lost a few decent fish which could have bumped his weight up. Mark Rhodes took 3rd fishing the same method as both Richard and Geoff.

This was the closest match this season with only a few oz between 1st and 2nd with a suprised winner Geoff Howell who caught a few big carp and a decent bream to take it late into the match.2nd was David Hill who looked to be the run away winner early on, but went almost 2 hours without a bite, Dave fished feeder and worm, 3rd place was Richard Burdin again only a few pounds behind the winner Richard caught most of his fish on the feeder.

Richard fished the match of his life, he fished up in the water with pellet to take a very impressive win and the first ton in the clubs history. Well done Richard. Second was Phil Flather with what would have normally been the weight to take the match fishing a similar method. Third spot went to Bryn Robinson who caught a superb net of barbel on the bottom with meat.
