The aim of WDCO is to  empower community  groups across  the Wakefield District, alongside the residents  of Wakefield, by
 providing an online platform for community information.  

Sandal Community Association aims to further the interests of all our residents by seeking to:
 
  • Protect and enhance the quality of our environment for present and future generations
  • Provide information and raise awareness of planning, community and traffic issues widely throughout the area
  • Offer a basis for dialogue and contact with Wakefield Metropolitan District Council and to make an input into the development planning processes
  • Encourage community spirit through social events

  • MESSAGE SERVICE: In exploring ways to communicate with its members, Sandal Community Association set up an email service through which members could receive newsletters and other announcements, It is with regret the association has to announce it is to discontinue this because insufficient members have signed up to take part.
