Whilst on a visit to Felixstowe
(Summer 2002) I
went into a superb second-hand bookshop and found this interesting book first
published 1952 - 443 pages in hardback version - cost me £8. An excellent
book in all respects - I would recommend this book to anyone with in interest in
G&S. It deals with the operas, Gilbert, Sullivan and D'Oyly Carte, and
the actors and characters involved. It is full of wonderful
illustrations.
