The Very
Reverend Jeffery Gunn, M.A. Fr. Jeffery Gunn was born in Co. Durham in 1947.Prior to ordination he pursued a career in Local Government. After studying at St. Chad’s College, Durham University, he completed his training for the priesthood at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield. Deaconed in 1979 in Gloucester Diocese, he served his title at St. Mary’s Prestbury. His first incumbency was in the Diocese of Ely, followed by two incumbencies in Rochester Diocese. In 1999 he was invited to become Dean of the Cathedral Church of Christ the King, Ballarat, where he enjoyed being part of the Anglican Church of Australia. At the end of 2004 he returned to the UK and was Associate Priest at St. Michael and All Angels, Croydon. Fr. Jeffery is married to Margaret and they have three grown-up children, all theologically sound! |
