These links go to pictures of our armies. My first army started with some Space Marines. My sister thought they looked interesting to paint and so went part shares with my dad on the Eldar army. She thought they looked sophisticated and liked the Biel Tan white and green colour scheme. Dad is interested in model making as you can see from his model railway section of this site.
After making some of my space marines Dad and I decided it would be worth getting the 40K starter set which would gives us the rule book and some scenery along with more marines. This set includes some Dark Eldar warriors and so the Dark Eldar army started.
After a while Dad wanted to have a go at some kit bashing and some scratch building. The Orks are ideal for this and so the Ork army arrived.
The scenery and conversions are mainly Dads work and the painting section is completely his
