The GPS has installed Internal maps installed for UK & Ireland.

With the DVD's you can add and remove Western European maps as required.

Internal GPS memory will hold for example maps the size of UK & Ireland or France.

Alternatively you can use up to a 2gb SD card which fits into the external slot and copy all
of Western Europe onto the GPS from the DVD's.

(SD Card not supplied but any cheap 2gb card will do)
