Provincial
Grand Lodge of Yorkshire, West Riding
Under the United Grand Lodge of England is divided into 47 Provinces
throughout England and Wales. In the Province of Yorkshire West Riding there are
214 Lodges, 81 Chapters and nearly 10,000 members in an area that stretches from
Ripon in the North to Sheffield in the South and Bentham in the West to Goole in
the East.

Centre for Research into
Freemasonry
At the University of Sheffield established by the University of Sheffield in the
academic session 2000-2001. The Centre undertakes and promotes objective
scholarly research into the historical, social and cultural impact of
freemasonry, particularly in Britain.
