On approaching Inverness, keep on the A9 North, over the Kessock Bridge. About 2 miles after the bridge, there is a slip road to the right, signposted Munlochy/Cromarty. Take this road through the village of Munlochy At the end of the village of Munlochy, turn right (off-set cross roads) sign posted Avoch/ Fortrose. Follow this road through Avoch until you arrive in Fortrose. As you are leaving the village, there is the Church of Scotland on the left and then the Police Station. Ness Road is on the right opposite the Police Station. Drive down Ness Road. There are new houses on your right hand side, fields on the left hand side.Scorrielea is the first driveway on the left hand side of Ness Road. The cottage stands on its own, surrounded by trees in the middle of fields, before you come to Ness Road East.
