in the minds and purposes of those upon whom the body is dependent in the present |

If the attitudes and aptitudes are changed in accordance as indicated around the person and there are the applications of those conditions given, the body will recover entirely from these disturbances. |

Keep patience, do not become impatient. Do not become overanxious. Attitudes should be not as in a spasmodic reaction, blowing hot and cold, overzealous one day and then again fearful and doubtful another. The strength, the health, the financial, the whole of an individual's purpose is in Him. For He is thy health, thy wealth, thy position, thy purpose -if ye will but make Him such. Beware of ever becoming fanatical or imposing upon others any tenet that would be or cause objections, but live in thine own inner self with that awareness which is His promise to thee, - "If ye will be my children, I will be thy God." |

One grain of pheno-barbital is being given the body thrice daily, which seems to reduce the attacks to about once every five days. |

Feed back from the treatment |

Three individuals participated in a 6-day live-in instructional/treatment program in March, 1996, in which they were taught the elements of the Edgar Cayce therapies for epilepsy. The Cayce perspective is that most epilepsy is a consequence of problems in the digestive system and enteric nervous system, rather than the cranial brain. The therapies included dietary changes, colonic irrigations, castor oil packs, and psycho-spiritual modalities such as prayer, meditation, and purposeful living. The participants then returned home to continue these therapies for 6 months, submitting daily logs of compliance with the protocol. Epilepsy symptoms were evaluated at the beginning of the program and after 6 months. One subject followed the protocol consistently and reported improvement in symptoms. There were no adverse effects of treatment reported by any of the subjects in this project. |

Special message for carers |
|
Cayce reminded the carers or parents that the epileptic child was a karmic condition for them as well and was best met by the caring for the child as much as possible. |
