Colour/Pyramid Energy Healing

img7060.jpg

to the pyramid as possible and has since remained far more calm than before"

There was also an invention where razor blades would stay sharp when placed under a pyramid .
The use of Pyramids in amplifying crystals, herbs and essential oils etc, is quite simple, place the article inside the pyramid for at least 2 -24 hours Flower essences are greatly amplified .Scientists have confirmed this; they see a change in the molecular structure of the water, but they don't know why. Water will loose its chlorine taste and

generally tastes better. Plants grown under the pyramid grow about twice as fast, in their early life, than do plants that are not grown under it. The treated young plants look healthier and have less insect damage. It has been found that a copper pyramid has the stronger effects and intensifies the effect on organic materials.

Of further interest it this worth having a look at http://www.gentletouch.co.uk/ there they have been doing some research into the properties of pyramids. They seem to have good results with a variety of complaints including migraine. Do have a look at their testimonials.
I have tried sitting in the 6-sided one and can very much vouch for the pyramid having a very beneficial effect upon me. To the extent of actually making a 4-sided pyramid with a rough angle to the horizontal of about 55degrees.This pyramid had a copper top placed upon it and a small amethyst crystal hung from beneath. By placing your

hand around the sides of the pyramid you could actually feel the energy through your hands. Sitting in it produced other beneficial effects to my mind every one should have one. The pyramid was placed upon the grass and orientated so its sides pointed north, south, east, and west. Interestingly when the wind blew and you were sitting in it you could feel you and the energy in the pyramid move which was quite strange. It most certainly helped my depression.

Colour and white light Therapy

Using the colours of the light spectrum, colour therapy aims to balance and enhance our body's energy centers/chakras and can help to stimulate our body's own healing process.
Each of the seven colours resonates with one of the main seven chakras. A natural and non-invasive form of healing, which uses the pure light/color energy for the well being of mind, body and spirit. Colour therapy is used for adults and children or babies alike and is also very helpful in the treatment of animals. Colour has been used

for healing at least since the Ancient Egyptian times. It is very much in use all the time at a subconscious level.
Colour Therapy uses colour to balance the Chakras of the body. Each of the spectrum colours is simply light of varying wavelengths, thus each color has its own particular energy. The energy relating to each of these spectrum colours resonates with the energy of each of the seven main chakras of the body.
Chakra is the Sanskrit word for 'wheel'. If you can imagine the chakras/energy centers as a set of cogs/wheels, they are rather like the workings of a clock or an engine; each cog /wheel needs to move smoothly and at a similar speed for the clock/engine to work properly. Thus good health and well being is achieved by a balance of all these energies (or the smooth running of the cogs/wheels).

harryedwardspic-000.jpg
oldpyramid1.jpg

Colour therapy can help to rebalance these 'wheels' by applying the appropriate color to the person/ animal and therefore re balance our chakras. Listed below is each of the spectrum colours and the chakra, which it relates to. Violet has the shortest wavelength and red the longest wavelength.

The Colours and Related Chakras

Colour -Related Chakra
Violet -Crown
Indigo -Brow
Blue - Throat
Green -Heart
Yellow -Solar Plexus
Orange - Sacral
Red -Base

Violet relates to the crown chakra, and red the base chakra. Colour is absorbed by the eyes, skin and skull and the energy of color can affect us on many levels, that is to say, physical, spiritual and emotional. Every cell in the body needs light energy - thus color energy has widespread affects on the whole body.

Colour

This can have a profound effect on us on many levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. We are in a world where colour dominates our lives, from reading signs on the road to identifying ripe fruit by its colour. Colour can influence our moods and like everything colour is all about balance not too much and not too little. We use colour everyday in our lives without even appreciating it.
Colour is simply light of different wavelengths and frequencies and light is just one form of energy. We are surrounded by electromagnetic waves of energy emanating from the universe of which colour is just a very small part. The colour spectrum is of course the only part of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye.

Light

Light is just one particular type of electromagnetic radiation. Other types of electromagnetic radiation include radio waves, infrared radiation (heat), ultraviolet radiation, x-rays and gamma - rays. Each type of radiation is distinguished by its wavelength, or frequency. Light is made up of many frequencies, colour just being a small selection of these frequencies. The colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, all emanate from the sun, our provider of light. These 7 colours become visible when a prism is placed in the path of sunlight.

oldpyramid1.jpg

As the light passes through the prism, it is split into the visible colours of the spectrum by a process called refraction but water droplets can also do this as in a rainbow.

Colour in nature

One only has to look around to see the proliferation of colour- greens abound, the grasses foliage as does blue in the sky and the sea .You will of course notice many different shades of different colours and we all have our favorites in fact colour has such a profound effect on us I doubt we could survive without it on this planet in this form.

Applying colour

There seems to be many ways to apply colour -silks are very often used –pure silks, coloured with totally natural dyes. Silks may be in seven different colours plus pink, magenta and white, which are placed on the seven main chakras. This of course depends upon the need of the person receiving the treatment.

Applying colour using solorised water

Water when exposed to sunlight in a coloured container is transformed it actually takes on the properties of the particular colour which the glass may be coated in. The coating may it seems be a coloured wrap which goes around the glass, the water takes on some of the vibrational energy of that particular colour. Apparently it takes a couple of hours of sunlight in summer for the effect to occur and nearly all day in winter .For best effects the general norm is to use spring water. The water may be sipped not gulped and

some people even bathe affected areas in the water - or both. And remember that the red, orange and yellow are inclined to be stimulating, so do not drink these too late in the day as it may keep you awake at night.

Meditation and Breathing

Of outstanding value are meditation and breathing.
Millions of people practice meditation daily whether religious or not. There are many ways of meditating and meditation means different things to different people. This list of benefits to this practice is truly awesome, inner peace, finding god, finding self, bringing healing in, clearing away unwanted things, etc.
Meditation can be achieved by focusing the mind on a particular object, for example a flower, or on a simple shape, on a sound, on an image (visualisation - see visualisation in self-help), or by focusing on the breathing. You can also be still and listen for your inner voice. Sometimes music is played to stimulate the spiritual nature within us, or a chant such as Om. With practice, you will find it becomes easier and easier to meditate and to be able to 'switch off' any time, anywhere, when you are feeling the need for some peace.

An easy meditation

It may help you with this to have some colored cards with the seven colours on them so that you may see them and then project and hold them in your mind.

First you must find a place where you can relax and be comfortable. A place where you will not normally be interrupted by others or outside noises. When you are settled, imagine yourself in a favorite place make sure you are on your own. This can be a place you have been to before or one where you can imagine. A mountain meadow, or in clearing in the woods perhaps being lit by a shaft of sunlight, sitting beside a bubbling stream where you can hear the chinking of the water, maybe on top of a rocky mountain. Firstly let your cares drain out of you and into the earth you sit upon. Feel your muscles relax as they do, starting at

the top of your head and working down through your neck, shoulders, spine, arms, hips and thighs, and out to the ends of your toes, draining away down into the earth. When you relaxed, imagine a stairway upwards and the see yourself climbing the stairway and as you approach the top you enter a place where it is red all around you and see your self immerse in the redness. Take in as much as you need once you feel you have had enough move to the stairway which you will see on your right and climb the next rung of stairs. When you get to the top imagine seeing a place which is all orange every where you look is orange and bathe in this colour also. When you have had enough turn to the right and see another stairway, climb the stairs and at the top you will enter a yellow place and walk amongst this place and take in as much as you need really breather it in. When you have had enough of this colour you will see another set of stairs on your right. Climb these and when you get to the top you will enter a green place where everything is green. Take in as much as you need really absorb the energy. When you have had enough you will see another set of stairs on your right. Climb these and when you get to the top you will enter a purple place again take in as much as you need really bathe in the colour. Finally turn to the right and see the stair case and the climb the stairs and as you reach the top you enter a special place where it is all gold see this colour enter your head and go through your entire body, be in this place for as long as you like. When you are ready turn to your left and see a fire mans pole Grasp this and giving thanks let your self slowly descend through down through the clouds on a bright sunny day see your self smiling or even laughing with the joy and fun of it. Slowly coming closer and closer to earth until your feet are firmly on the ground and really feel your feet planted on mother earth.
Until the next time…

Breathing

Breathing is very important, but it is surprising how few of us actually do breath 'properly'. Breathing is something we all take for granted and are inclined to forget about.

A simple beneficial exercise in breathing.

harryedwardspic-000.jpg

Harry
Edwards

Find a comfortable place with good back support so that your body is straight, allowing you to breathe deeply and comfortably. Tell yourself to relax. Then consciously relax every part of your body from the top of your head to your toes, seeing it within your mind and then seeing it relax. Next concentrate on your breathing, taking deep in-breaths, through the nose, letting the breath fill your body, find this relaxing and calming. Then breathe out through your mouth, exhaling all negativity and stress and ridding your body of the toxins, which build up there. Repeat this a number of times see if you can manage 10 mins. Like everything the more practice you get the easier it becomes. Simply watch your tummy expand as you breathe in.

An aid to this would be to visualise a particular colour that you feel you need – how do you test that?
Well which do you feel drawn too at this moment? Then once you know that, many of you should be able to visualise this colour, for those that cannot try to get some card of the colour you require and look straight into it and imagine drawing in this colour to you up until the time it actually feels a little irritable. You can also try
http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~tmd/colour.htm where you can see colours online. For those that visualise well imagine the colour to start with and then you can try imagining breathing this colour in, or you can see yourself bathing in this colour and take in as much as you need.

Projection of colour using your mind

You can also project colour with your mind and blend colour into other people or to yourself, this is a practice which requires intuitive guidance to find and apply the requisite amount of colour and the shade. As many people are realizing we have an energy field, which surrounds us, all colour is energy so it is easily appreciated that one can add to this field or even clear away from it. Certainly a warning is mentioned here in the fact that thoughts are quite real to which we are all have a responsibility to try to control –projection of colour comes under this guise this is why intuitive guidance must be applied at all times. Straying from that principle can lead to damage and harm if these energies are not properly applied. Lily Cornford founded the Maitreya School in 1982 (London 0207 272 2981) largely on the principle of visualising the colours of specific flowers and channeling that energy
through the hands to a patient lying on a treatment couch.

Projection of colour using a light source

Colour can also be projected either with the use of lamps preferably with daylight bulbs, this where a piece of coloured glass or other coloured material is placed in front of the lamp or light source which could of course be the sun .The colour is then projected onto the person where you can literally bathe in the colour, this is much more apparent when you using a darkened room with only one light source.

A general note of care is mentioned here- too much Colour can have detrimental effects, also as a precaution take in as much colour up to the point it becomes slightly irritable.

There is now a treatment lamp available from Freespirit, which uses monochromatic, dichroic filters and can be programmed to shine light onto any parts of the body, which the therapist deems necessary. This approach opens the way for future research into the effects of specific colours and systems of application.

Red promotes -stimulation of circulation and metabolism, improvement of blood circulation activation of energy reserves. Care is needed with this colour as too much can and will have detrimental effects like increased irritability even aggression.

Orange promotes-support of tissue creation activation of the muscle functions, stimulating the psyche harmonization of metabolic processes, reviving, relaxing and warming.

Yellow promotes - stimulation of the lymphatic system, activation of the nervous system, tonification of muscles, strengthening of the digestive system, motivation and encouragement.

Green promotes reinforcement of heart and circulation, stabilization of the respiratory system, activation of fabric formation, regeneration after diseases, balance and harmonization.

Blue promotes- anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antipyretic painkiller, fighting insomnia, reducing swellings, relax and relief.

Violet promotes - stabilization of the nervous system, activation of the lymphatic system, relief from strain and blocking, painkiller, inspiration and relaxation.
For those who wish to check if they are color blind please visit this site, as there is a simple test.

For another insight on the importance of colour please have a look at this information which was apparently channeled from the other side.

Many diseases have apparently been treated with colour therapy including Anemia, Asthina, Brouchitis, Arthritis, Burns, Diarrhea, Colds, Constipation, AIDS, Diabetes, Eczema, Paralysis, Menstral Problems, Infertility, PMS, Candida Albicans, High/Low Blood Pressure and many, many more...

Feedback

Psychological studies confirm what most of us know instinctively — that certain colours can affect mood. Yellow and red are the most stimulating, and an American study in the 1970s found that 30 minutes in red light raised heart rate and blood pressure, while blue light decreased it. A certain shade of 'womb' pink was shown to have a calming effect on prison

ers. Interior designers and paint companies make use of such research when advising colours for particular environments.

Some babies born prematurely have suffered a life-threatening condition of jaundice, which may have necessitated a blood transfusion. Now, thanks initially to an article by R.J. Cremer in 1958, all that is required is exposure to light. This cure apparently results from the chemical breakdown of bilirubin by full spectrum or blue light.

People who suffer Dyslexia are now able to read comfortably with tinted glasses or overlays; black and white is often too harsh for them to see clearly. Optometrists use the Intuitive Colorimeter, invented by DR Arnold Wilkins, to evaluate the individual colours of the tinted glasses which are used to improve reading and help to prevent migraines.

Light therapy has also been used in the military, which involved shining light onto a non-visual part of the retina to prevent sleepiness over a period of forty-eight hours. Curiously, the use of strobed light in a sleeper's eyes has been found to stop snoring.

Seasonal affected disorder

We need light and many people are affected in winter by the very short days and lack of sunshine.

Light is extremely important for the needs of man. Edgar Cayce recommended 2 hrs a day but not at the height of the day. Sunlight metabolizes vitamin D which is needed for the absorption of Calcium, with osteoporosis now affecting one in three women over 50 and one in twelve men, anything we can do to absorb calcium must be looked at. According to one reputable light therapist who listed ten main benefits from sunlight which include.

1 Production of vitamin D,
2.Lowers blood pressure.
3.Increases heart pumping efficiency.
4.Improves ECG readings.
5.Reduces Cholesterol and hypertension
6.Assists weight loss.
7.Effective with Psoriasis.
8.Increases the level of sex hormones.
9.Helps alleviate Asthma and other lung disorders.
10.Helps improve mood.

As with most things one can have too much .Too much sunlight will age the skin and give an increased risk of skin cancer, which is frequently caused by too much UV radiation. An interesting point with sunlight is the fact that you can get burnt through cloud cover or in shallow water. Never expose babies to direct sun between 11am-2pm in summer. As a precaution if any mole changes colour, shape, size or becomes itchy, or bleeds seek medical advice straight the way, melanoma if caught early is well treatable, caught late it can be much more problematic. Alternatively to sunlight one can use a light box but this will have to be the right kind of light and the right intensity and with this one can then expose oneself or others to the right duration of time.
With the now recognised problem of season affected disorder -the cayce statement is well justified. Insufficient light will cause all manor of problems things like depression, Fatigue and drowsiness will be more seen in winter as the dark days come. Apparently a thirty-minute exposure to sunlight will produce enough vitamin D for the entire day. People in winter are now using light boxes, which should be of at least 10,000-lux full spectrum type lights and flicker free. Also used is UV light and both of these types of light are to be used in the early morning to keep us in balance. Treatment with these methods has been effective in about 85% of cases. Our pineal gland responds to sunlight and a sunny day produces about 100,000 lux, the pineal gland produces melatonin, which lowers heart rate and prepares the body for sleep. However

you have to get sufficient daylight to produce Melatonin.PMS has now been linked to low melatonin .In fact one has to apparently protect our melatonin as things like Glutamate (often used in food additives) caffiene, alcohol, tobacco, chocolate, non steroid anti inflammatory, beta blockers, prozac, and valium deplete it.

Melatonin is a very important chemical and acts as an anti oxidant and free radical scavenger and these things are linked to aging. Curiously St. johns wort used for depression is a melatonin stimulator.
Tests have also been done with florescent lighting at a school in Florida, the tests clearly showed evidence for increased Hyperactivity, Irritability, Depression and Fatigue.Surprisingly the lighting also affected blind people as well. The clear alternative for florescent lights are the full spectrum type lights where they very nearly replicate sunlight, again tests have shown improved Health and performance, a decrease in headaches, Depression and fatigue.

The nice thing about light therapy is that the side effects are experienced by only a small percentage of people, and typically are temporary. They can include a jittery feeling,
