Diet, - take little of salt; but do have all of those foods that carry iodine and silicon; as carrots, turnips, artichoke, new corn in season (never use canned corn, however). All of these will be helpful.
Results will depend upon patience, time, and the attitudes of the body. But don't lose the hold on self nor its abilities to ever be a helpful influence in the lives of those who come in contact with you, for the glory of the divine within!

BACKGROUND 3093-1 F 41 Suffering from multiple sclerosis. Both feet are paralyzed, the left foot being super-sensitive to the slightest touch, and subject to daily spasms of sharp pain. Eyesight is affected, double vision and the vision vague and cloudy. Intense desire to urinate frequently, but urination often extremely difficult. Patient at present is deteriorating very rapidly. Lifting power of hands is waning.
3093 -1 Cayce found conditions rather serious, and may be more serious unless there are different measures taken; it would not be well to interfere with that being administered - under the present conditions. Wet cell carrying the Spirits of Camphor for the nerves; that there be not the inflammation causing those accumulations of lymph through the superficial and internal parts of the body. A double-strength charge should be used, and the attachments would be made once each day for thirty minutes.
Attachments would be made as follows: The larger nickel plate, through which the Camphor Solution passes vibratorially, would be attached to the umbilicus plexus. And the smaller copper plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal. These, we see, would work with the assimilating forces of the body and bring better conditions, and keep down those tendencies for this accumulation.
(Q) How did this illness originate? (A) A breaking down of the assimilating forces, in the glandular forces of the body.
(Q) How can recurrent spasms of leg pains be prevented or retarded? (A) These are all combined with these conditions. (Q) What will relieve the intense desire to urinate frequently? (A) Do those things as indicated –
REPORTS 3093-1 F 41 You prescribed the use of a Wet Cell Appliance. Mr. Godfrey made this Appliance, and I started using it on July 29th. Improvement in bodily functions and general tone of the patient started the same day. Pains in the limbs however, continued and it was necessary to continue using drugs to relieve these pains. "The Appliance was used for about two months, then discontinued for a week, then again used for a week. No further improvement has resulted, and so I am now discontinuing the use of the same.
A physician, who has made a hobby of hypnotism, has tried this on her. The improvement has been remarkable in that for the first time, I have not had to give her drugs for the relief of pain in all this time.
BACKGROUND 3118-1 F 56
Problems started seven or eight years ago, indicated by an inability to rise quickly from a stooping position, down to floor and up to full height, very gradually increasing, developing later into difficulty in climbing upstairs or even short steps, until it became necessary to use a cane. No pain of any kind for some time, then more or less down back of one or the other leg, from buttocks, down to heel and foot, identified as sciatica. From the first indications, the knees showed almost no reflexes, later, none at all; but had no pain in them whatsoever. Exercises in recumbent position or stooping down and rising proved tiring rather than beneficial. She could walk briskly for a long while in perfect safety with a cane and without becoming tired, but after several years and a gradual decline in out of door exercise in any degree of regularity. Walking grew more difficult, finally causing the need to more forced activity and the use even in the house of a cane because of a sensation as of falling backward at times and the slight weakness of one ankle. From the first symptoms of trouble, examinations were made by three different physicians, prescriptions of iodine and pulvules of liver concentrate were given, and later complete physical examination and blood test made at a pathological laboratory showed these to be negative with secondary anemia indicated. After about three years (none of these physicians having done anything to either retard the progress of trouble or improve condition) another physician further investigated symptoms, prescribing strong B-1 Complex Vitamins, two capsules daily, (his own formula), and liquid iodine, fifteen drops daily in water. His diagnosis stated. After urinalysis, heart test, blood pressure and complete blood tests, these latter, negative: Indications of either diseased or dead tissues in spine. If former, progress could be checked, if latter, nothing could be done since dead tissue could not be restored to life. After a time, during which condition grew worse, despite taking the medicine and vitamins prescribed, walking improved sufficiently to enable complete abandonment of use of cane and much easier stair climbing. Instability ceased entirely and walking was more of a pleasure than a task. Within the last three months, however, the security has gone and difficulty is returning. Increased use of Vitamin B-1 in varied forms such as breakfast foods, wheat germ and enriched breads besides a preparation of Vitamin D with orange juice evidently proved too heavy since digestive disturbance began and an increase of high blood pressure, previously indicated. Some constipation present during a long period of time, for which gentle abdominal massage has been used and about once weekly, mild liver laxative used with beneficial effect. There have been at long intervals, severe heart attacks after some over-exertion or excitement; these in the form of violent palpitation, lasting an hour or more and for which adrenaline was used with quieting effect. In childhood, malarial fever was present more than once, tonsillitis frequently and during whole life from early childhood, faintness and sometimes completely lost consciousness from fainting in times of physical injury or shock of any kind. I can't hear a whisper through the earphone. Tonsillectomy - in childhood. Linguinal Adenoids - young woman. Osteopathic treatments for partial retroversion of uterus as young woman which stopped all pain. What may be the cause of intense and increasing hot flashes that are attended by air hunger even in cold weather and also from a certain amount of nervous distress?"
3118-1 F 56 Cayce found disturbing conditions which prevent better normal functioning. These especially have to do with activities in the locomotories, and thus involve primarily the locomotion - and the ability to control the lower limbs. There are also other conditions existent that disturb the body.
The blood supply, though not normal, is very good, considering the disturbances through the activities of the circulatory system, as a system. Irregularity of the heart's activity is more from reflexes in circulation of the central circulatory system than an organic disturbance itself; though this at times does and may give more anxiety for the body's welfare.
Character of hormones in the blood supply show a lack of those properties - through the absorption in circulation - for replenishing nerve plasm itself. While the reactions of the white matter in nerve supply are sufficient, there are indications that reflexes - requiring the opposite flow of the gray matter had problems.
Assimilations are deficient in causing the proper structural replenishment in body. Also in the ribs as well as in thighs, and in other parts there is a deficiency in the plasm for the red blood cell itself. Irregularity in the numbers of red blood and white blood cellular forces. Though the body in itself does not give the appearance as of anemia, these effects are a natural result of such a deficiency.
The nerve forces themselves, particular the plexus in the coccyx and the sacral and the sciatic centers are deficient. This causes an inability of the body to control the stamina or the activity of the muscles controlled by nerves, so that voluntary activity becomes involuntary.
The effect is not wholly of a sclerous nature in the flow itself, - but rather a hindrance in the coccyx and the ileum plexus to supply THEIR sufficient aid to the nerve system, from the glands that secrete same in the segments of the sacral and the coccyx portion of the spine.
Nerve supply through the torso of body, is gradually weakening, but as yet there is not enough deterioration as to cause very perceptible disturbance; though at times some anxiety is exhibited in portions of the left shoulder and arm, and through a part of the neck and side of the head.
This indicates the position of the disturbance, and the areas that need the stimulation. Deficiency of phosphorous, first, brought these deficiencies in other directions, by setting the body functionings awry. Then, with the subluxations in the coccyx and sacral, this has become more and more acute.
In making administrations, the circulation, the heart's activity, the circulation between lungs, heart, kidneys and liver, must be taken into consideration, as well as the deficiencies in the chemical forces of the body, and the suppressions produced by pressures in the areas between nervous forces and nerve supply, and nerve activity in muscular as well as structural portions of the body force itself.
