What Is Tera-Mai Reiki and Seichem Healing?
Reiki as a system of healing was ‘rediscovered’ by Mikao Usui, a Japanese minister in the late 19th century, and is now rapidly gaining popularity throughout the world due to its effectiveness.
The word Rei-Ki translates as Universal Chi (here spelt Ki) or Universal life force. This refers to the healer’s ability to gather life energy and direct it to the problem area.
People who are familiar with Reiki often ask what Seichem and Tera-Mai is. Seichem healing comes from the same origins as Reiki, and was given to American healer Kathleen Milner in 1991. She included this in her Tera-Mai system which contains enhancements to ‘standard’ Reiki. Tera-Mai is also a way of providing a standardised way of passing healing ability on to student healers. Students of the Tera-Mai system are normally attuned to both Reiki and Seichem.
For those interested, Tera-Mai Reiki & Seichem includes all the elemental rays of healing. These different ‘flavours’ of energy are called Reiki, Sakara, Sophie-El and Angelic-light - each has a different characteristic feeling which is felt by both the healer and patient.
