Stargate SG-1 Screen Savers

Please note : These screensavers are for personal use only and are not to be distributed via any other means such as another website, FTP, Newsgroups, Yahoo groups, CDs or floppy discs without prior written authorisation from the creators.

Screen savers can be changed  via the display settings in the Control Panel or by right clicking on an empty area of the desktop and choosing properties and then screensavers.

System Requirements:

CPU: Minimum Pentium 200   RAM: 32MB   OS: Windows95/98   Screen Res: Will work with 640x480, 800x600, 848x480, 1024x768, 1152x864 and 1280x1024.

NOTE: This is the most recent public release of the Rotating Logo screen saver. The Logo still looks and acts the same as the old one (v1.1b), but it's now centered while running at the different screen resolutions. You can be running 800x600 and a friend could be running 1024x768. In both resolutions the Logo will appear centered on the screen. Due to no Vector Graphic capabilities within the screen saver creation program, the logo still appears smaller at the higher resolutions. As well compression was unchecked during the building of the saver to allow for it to startup a little faster on the lower end PC's. The trade off being that the saver now requires 5 megs of hard drive space.

Windows XP

You will need to change the installation folder to windows\system32. When you install the screensaver, on the third screen of the installation wizard you'll see...

"The SGC Logo v1.1d (uncompressed) screensaver file will be installed in the following directory."

In the box it says .....

C:\Windows\System

Put your mouse in that box at the end of that text and type a 32 so it reads C:\Windows\System32 then complete the installation.

Hopefully that should work for you and you'll see the screensaver listed in the selections in your display proprieties.

Right click on an empty area of your desktop, one with no icons and choose properties, then the screen saver tab.
