At Shabiera we only breed when we need a puppy for ourselves to keep the line going and to further establish the Shabiera name. As a result we have only had three litters to date under the Shabiera banner, the first litter being under Liz's previous affix, Lexxicon. These litters were as follows:-

Champion Hecatie Hellraiser x  Desborough Devotion at Lexxicon,

This litter was born on the 25th April 1991. It contained 3 bitches and 3 dogs, all slate and white. Three from the litter have been shown with some success, including our own Lexxicon Linebacker of Shabiera (Otis) who as gained his stud book entry.

Potterdale Rondo x Desborough Devotion at Lexxicon

This litter was born on the 9th February 1994. It contained 5 bitches and 4 dogs. All slate and white. Five of these have been shown, three of which have gained their stud book number, two having won Challenge Certificates, Shabiera Starflame and Shabiera Starstream.

Champion Potterdale Prophet x Desborough Devotion at Lexxicon

This litter was born on the 10th January 1997.It contained 1 dog and 2 bitches all slate and white. Unfortunately Chelsea had a difficult birth and we lost one of the bitches. We kept the dog who is Shabiera Teddy Boy. The bitch now lives in Spain.

Champion Potterdale Conclusion x Shabiera Starflame

This litter was born on the 31st March 1997. It contained 3 dogs all slate and white. Two of these are currently being shown. One is Shabiera Swagman J.W. the first bearded collie male to obtain his junior warrant under the new scheme in the U.K. The other is Shabiera Skywalker owned by Diane Kerr in Canada. This was the last litter to be sired by Charlie before his retirement.
