As a puppy

Pedigree

Buzz is Disney's son. Although he was the laid back one in the litter and we worried that he might lack pizazz we decided that he would be the one who stayed. He equals and exceeds the boisterous outgoing nature of his Mum. He was the first home-bred Lhasa that we showed. He started his show career at an Exemption show where he took BPIS - but the main thing was that he enjoyed himself immensely - and he even behaved himself. At ringcraft classes his best friends were a Boxer and a Rottweiler."BUZZ" started his show career on the day he was 6 months old, taking Best Puppy in breed and Puppy Group 3 at Henley on Thames Open show under judge Peter Radley. At his second open show he was Reserve BOB under judge Jean Givens. As a puppy he attained many BPIB and Puppy Group placings plus an adult Group 3.

At the second championship show he attended he qualified for Crufts 2000 and then proceeded to qualify several times over. He spent a few months living in the Emerald Isle with 'Sunny' Noonan who doted on him and lovingly prepared him for exhibition. He was to be handled in the showring by Sunny's partner Sean Carroll, but after a couple of shows "Buzz" decided that he would only show for his new daddy so Sunny had to take a deep breath and go for it. It worked!!! With a Reserve Green Star already behind him, at Cloghran Championship Show on November 28th 1999 (the day that "Buzz" was eleven months old) Sunny handled him to his first Green Star, Best of Breed, the Utility Group and Best In Show 3. His second Reserve Green star came at Dublin on his first birthday. He returned to live with us from February 2000.

To think - we were worried he might lack pizazz!!!!

"Buzz" not only holds a current BVA/KC "Unaffected" by GPRA certificate, but he has also undergone an ERG test for projected GPRA diagnosis with clear results.

On 30th September 2000 Buzz won Limit Dog at Belfast Championship Dog Show and also took the reserve CC under judge J Carter. We were thrilled! Buzz mated Tinker and they became the proud parents of three bitch puppies born 20th December 2000.
