Greta was born in Norway on 9th August 2000. Both her parents are both Multi Champions. She was originally a brindle colour but cleared to a grey.

Greta was shown by her breeder, Kurt Espeland, in Norway and at her very first show she was Best of Breed. She won the bitch CC at the Norsk Kennel Club show on 11th August 2001 under judge Svein Helgeson (Tanac). This was her 3rd CC in Norway. However, she could not have the title of champion as she was under 15 months of age at the time. She also had CCs in Finland before she came to the UK.

Greta arrived in England on 18th September 2001 and settled in very quickly. She gained her Kennel Club Stud Book number in July 2002 under breed specialist Anne Matthews.

The photo on the left is Greta's dam, International and Multi Champion Midnight Spesial. She was Lhasa Apso of the year in Norway 97-99-02-03-04-05, Norway The Toydog of the year 2003 & Norway Veteran of the year 2003 (all breeds).

In November 2002 Greta gave birth to six puppies - Jarvis, Jake, Chloe, Diesel, Gypsy and Whoopi. Gyspy is following in Greta's pawprints for her colouring, but the other five offspring are black. Whoopi and Gypsy have stayed with us.

In September 2003 Greta returned to Norway for a holiday with her breeder and to attend a few shows. She won the CC, BOB and BIS3 at Bergen to complete her Norwegian Champion title, and could then claim her Finnish Champion title too (she needed one more CC after the age of fifteen months in order to claim this). Below she is pictured second from the left, representing her breeder in the breeder stakes at Fredrikstad, which they won.

In October 2005 Greta gave birth to her second litter, sired by Australian Ch Amesen Come Fly With Me to Ballito, from which we kept Shardlow Wiggley Giggley - "Ziggy".
