SHARDLOW PILOT OF THE FUTURE J.W. ShCM
Pilot is at stud to approved bitches. He is DNA profiled and ear tattooed.
"Pilot" was not initially meant to stay with us. His dam Shardlow Raindrops on Roses was mated to his sire, Champions Jalus Dan Dare, to repeat the mating that produced Shardlow Rose Petals Fall Over Cedarpoint - the intention being that Amanda Luscott could have the pick of litter. However, everyone decided that we would be mad not to keep Pilot who was the only male in the litter of 7 puppies, and so he stayed here.
Pilot had a good start to his show career, qualifying for Crufts 2007 and for the Lhasa Apso Inter-Club Challenge 2007.
He won many Best Puppy in Breed and Puppy group awards at Open shows and went Reserve Best Puppy in Show at Bristol & DDC, Chepstow & DCS in December 2006 and West Country Dog Club in January 2007.
When he first moved from Puppy classes into the adult classes he won Best of Breed and the Utility Group at Yeovil & DCA show. At less than thirteen months of age he was awarded Best Dog and Reserve Best in Show at the Midland Lhasa Apso Association Open show in February 2007 - judge Vandella Williams (Toydom).
In March 2007 his first offspring were born to Shardlow Wind in the Willow - 8 puppies.
In May 2007 he attained his J.W. and ShCM titles and gained entry into the Stud Book.
At Windsor Championship show in July 2007 Pilot won the Reserve Challenge Certificate - judge Elizabeth Luck.
Pilot went from strength to strength winning Best In Show at open shows and maintaining his good form at Championship shows.
In March 2008 he was one of only 10 finalists in the country, all breeds, for the Kennel Club Junior Warrant Competition held at CRUFTS, where he competed in the Best in Show ring.
Pilot has won 2RCCs
