Here is one of our gardens - that has really developed over the last year or so;

The brand new house was just finished, and the builders had left our clients the usual 6 concrete slabs and turf.

They wanted something stylish, somewhere to eat and entertain, a screened area for the circular washing line and, of course, somewhere to relax.

They like circles and different levels.

The west facing aspect meant suggested a pergola.

The slight slope afforded the opportunity for a split level.

And now, a couple of years after completion ...

The screen to the garage and 'functional area ' works well.  The Wysteria is looking fabulous on the pergola - blocking off no light - just offering dappled shade.


The low wall offers informal seating, the paving layout gives formality to the patio, the fountain feature gives a focal point, and the seating is restful and secluded.
