3 NOVEMBER 1717 GEORGE GORDON of Buckie and Mrs. MARGARET GORDON Lawful Daughter to the Laird of Glashterim entered their proclamations, and were married November 11th. [Vol.2 p.3]. [George Gordon was the sixth Laird of Buckie. This was his second marriage; his first had been to Jean Burnet, c.1706. He was a Jacobite rebel in 1715 and died in 1729.
