We're on the move! Newcastle Breastfeeding Resource is sneaking out sideways, to a snazzy new site: no longer will we have an ungainly URL and intermittent web hosting (thank you tiscali). Click here to head to the new site on blogspot. The site is still under construction but there's a good amount of Newcastle-specific info there, and more coming in futre.

The controversial Equality Bill has been given an unopposed second reading in the House of Commons. The sections relating to pregnancy and maternity discrimination (and therefore breastfeeding) were apparently not opposed in the debate. This means that they will remain in its progress to becoming law. Thanks to everyone who took action by writing to their MPs, attending rallies and the famous picnic at Parliament!
