The Robin Hood Musical

Once

Yes, once I had it all and walked so tall.
Once I lived so well just like a swell.
Every day always fair, with little care.
Life was good, a scent of flowers filled the air.

Never had to look for help or needed care,
I owned a horse and had fine clothes to wear,
Always had firm friends to bring me good cheer
Sunshine, weather kind, no great burden to bear.

Life was not very tough, had more than enough,
So much love, with fine blue skies above.
Once I had little fear and shed few tears.
Every day seemed rosy, each night tucked up cosy.

Fate dealt me a hand unfair that brought me despair,
Friendly faces have now become so rare.
Warm smiles have now turned into a stare.
And now its outlaws who show real care.
