trials. Ancestral Collections was formed by Lady Victoria Leatham in 1994 to offer fine decorative accessories. Now every two months, with a new cover, a new selection is sent to an increasing number of appreciative customers. Over the years ideas have been taken from famous houses including Knebworth (a Burne-Jones print), Elton Hall (a silver gilt salt container and spoon), Castle Howard (potter trump boxes) and, of course, artifacts from Burghley House itself (the Burghley charger). Ancestral Collections is now part of the successful Scotts & Co group of companies and, having moved from Burghley House in 2007, are now housed in listed buildings still within the estate.
