It all began in the great 2006 Sneaker Gold Rush. We went
searching for glorious glittering footwear,and we came home with nothing but
fools' gold.
Dagnammit, we said, there oughta be a place where a law-abidin'
person can buy proper brands at decent prices. We searched from Abergavenny to
Alaska and we couldn't find any. Well, we thought, we'd better do it ourselves.
We hitched up our wagons, spoke to the leading brands, they
said yes, and the rest is history...
...or alchemy, at least. We took one Cat, lots of Pumas, a glug
of Babycham, a Fly and lashings of Converse, Fred Perry, Hush Puppies, Ikon,
Irregular Choice, K-Swiss, Merrell, G-Star,New Balance, Peter Werth, PF Flyers
and Rockport, Base, Circa, Osiris, Dassler, DC, Harlot and Reebok. And we keep
improving the recipe with more brands and more styles.
