Musto is proud to support many of the world's most successful sailors through a wide range of sponsorships from grass roots sailing in the International Optimist Class
to the big offshore adventures such as the Vendée Globe and Volvo Ocean Race. In 2009, the maxi-trimaran Banque Populaire smashed the North Atlantic record - all wearing Musto gear.
Musto has also had a long relationship with Ellen MacArthur since setting off on her first voyage at 17 to her current exploits with the Offshore Challenges Sailing Team -
including the accolade of becoming the fastest solo sailor around the world in 2005 aboard the trimaran B&Q. We have now extended this support to The Ellen MacArthur Trust inspiring young people's recovery of
cancer through organised sailing voyages.
In 2010 we launched our Official Skandia Team GBR collection, inspired by what the team wear and designed in our patriotic colours. Show support for our national team, as a percentage
of all sales from the range goes directly to the athletes.
We are also pleased to announce the sponsorship of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) the venue for the sailing events for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
When it comes to cutting-edge performance, the new Vestas Sailrocketwill launch in the UK summer 2010 and all at Musto will be watching intently to see the world speed record
broken.
Also worth celebrating, the high performance sailing dinghy – the Musto Performance Skiff – has grown from strength to strength and this year will celebrate its
