Martin came up with the idea for Needapresent.com in 1999 when he had a little more time on his hands than usual - thanks to a broken arm!
We were both sick and tired of rushing around the shops whenever we needed a present for someone. What we wanted was an easy to use website - full of stylish gifts, at reasonable prices - which would take the hassle out of gift buying.
We scoured hundreds of stores in London, Paris and New York… looking for unique, funky products. We went to trade fairs, read countless newspapers, magazines and catalogues - until we had a range of gifts that we would be proud to give ourselves.
