Smythson use only the finest quality leathers with exclusive patterns and colours. These leather patterns and colours can change from time to time. The following are currently in the range:

CERVO - Supple calf leather with soft deerskin grain in a rich tan.
CALFSKIN - Soft and smooth calf leather in black.
PIGSKIN - Natural pigskin with a textured surface. Available in black, red, tan and pale blue.
MARA - Calf leather with a crocodile design, hand-finished with luxurious suede calf leather lining. Available in tan or chocolate.
VIANA - Calf leather with a lizard skin finish in rich dark brown.
ARUBA - Calf leather with a fine printed grain, in cerise pink.
LAMBSKIN - Grained in multiple directions to give flexible, hard-wearing bookbinding leather in black, dark blue, red, Nile Blue, fuchsia pink and emerald green.
