The Vale Short Mat Friendly League has been in existence now for some 25 years and has seen many changes during its lifetime.
Clubs have come and gone. Membership swings up and down within clubs and subsequently the League.
However, the League remains the one common factor that binds these clubs together. In fact, members of the VSMBFL were instrumental in founding the Buckinghamshire Short Mat Bowling Association.
Why not join one of these clubs today and find out what Short Mat Bowls can do for you !! It’s a great sport and a fascinating game. The basic rules are similar to the more familiar outdoor lawn green bowls, except that this version of the game can be played indoors in village halls, sports clubs and Church and School halls.
