Fund Raising

Over the last few months, we have been participating in several local events in order to try and raise some much needed money towards our Outdoor Project (click on the Outdoor Projects link see more about our aims).

 

We had a plant stall at the Kingston Blount Street Fayre and another at the Chinnor Centre Fun Day on Mill Lane Fields on Saturday 19th June, where all the plants and cakes were donated by members of the Bowls Club, and several members of the club turned out to help.

 

We also had a very successful “Bowling for a Pig” stall at the recent Flower Show Centenary event on the playing fields. Members of the public bowled four woods to a target to win prizes which consisted of  pigs in all shapes and sizes. Pottery pigs, soft toy pigs, sweet pigs, cushion pigs, t-shirt pigs and many more.
