Fund Raising

During the Spring and Summer of 2007 we held a few Fund Raising events to try and raise some much needed money towards our Outdoor Project (click on the Outdoor Projects link see more about our aims).

 

We had a plant stall at one of the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway Associations open day at the Chinnor Station and another at the Chinnor Centre Fun Day on Mill Lane Fields where local MP Boris Johnson actually purchased a Strawberry Cake from us.

 

All the plants were donated and all the cakes were made by members of the Bowls Club, and despite some very inclement weather, many members of the club turned out to help on the day and a very useful contribution to the funds was achieved.
