About Silks on the Downs
Silks on the Downs, formerly the Wheatsheaf Inn, is a restaurant and bar with rooms on the outskirts of Marlborough.
Silks has a long history of being somewhere to come and relax with a drink, or over a home-cooked meal, and Silks' present owners have captured the spirit of the area in the racing silks that adorn the walls.
Now Silks is reknowned for its varied and exciting menu as much as its place at the centre of the village of Ogbourne St. Andrew.
Silks is an ideal place for a special night out, a relaxing lunch, or even somewhere to bring the family! (well behaved children are always welcome).

11am-3pm for Lunch
7pm-11pm for Dinner
12-3pm on Sundays
Where to find Silks on the Downs
You can find Silks on the main road in to Marlborough,the A346. As you go towards Marlbrough we are just after the turning for Ogbourne St. Andrew on the right hand side by the war memorial.
There is ample parking at the front and back of Silks on the Downs.
