The First Shift is the debut cassette by Simon Haworth & Tina Cooper. It was recorded by Paul Adams at Fellside Recordings and features 14 tracks of songs and tunes, both traditional and contemporary, with a number of original tunes, including Simon's The Last Shift. Simon takes lead vocals and plays guitar, cittern and bodhran while Tina plays the flute and the whistles. They are joined on this album by Linda Adams (vocals), Sarah Vallance (vocals) and former Iron Horse member Steve Lawrence (percussion).
